Content Writer

ANDERSEN is looking for an experienced Content Writer to develop compelling, clear, and consistent messaging for Microsoft products and services. We are specifically looking for someone with demonstrated experience writing content for Microsoft products and services who understands how to communicate effectively to partner audiences.

This role will create content for partners and through partners to their customers across a variety of products, programs, and communication channels. The ideal candidate can take complex Microsoft product and service information and translate it into concise, engaging, audience-focused messaging. Strong prioritization, attention to detail, and the ability to bring clarity to complex information are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and edit content supporting Microsoft products and services for partner and through-partner audiences.
• Develop product and feature messaging, campaign copy, taglines, promotional messaging, and other marketing communications.
• Translate complex products, service, and technical information into clear, concise, compelling content.
• Apply messaging frameworks consistently across multiple Microsoft products and channels.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business goals, gather input, establish priorities, and determine content requirements.
• Manage writing projects from concept through final delivery while balancing multiple stakeholders, inputs, and overlapping deadlines.
• Ensure content follows established brand, editorial, and Microsoft writing-style standards.
• Maintain organized documentation, content files, revisions, and approvals.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of professional content writing, copywriting, or marketing communications experience.
• Experience writing content for Microsoft products and services.
• Experience creating partner and through-partner communications.
• Strong experience with product, features, campaign, and promotional messaging.
• Ability to simplify complex technical and product information into clear, compelling messaging.
• Experience developing messaging frameworks across multiple products.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft Writing Style Guide.
• Strong collaboration and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
• Experience with SharePoint.
• Experience with WordPress or similar content management systems.
• Experience supporting technology, partner, channel, or B2B marketing programs.
